Welcome to MCM Studio, we believe that great design doesn't need to be complicated.
Led by Sherry, who is loved for her approachable nature and the way that she deeply connects with each client and project. Sherry graduated in Interior Decoration & Design in 2018 and she strives to enhance the design experience and project outcomes with her genuine passion to understand her clients personal vision.
With years of experience in the building/construction & design industry and working on her own renovation projects, she understands the importance of conscientious planning, problem solving and partnership.

When she's not on instagram, pinterest or visiting design events around Melbourne she enjoys heading to the Mornington Peninsula with her teenage daughters & toy cavoodles, visiting family (and wineries), retail therapy and spending time by the beach.
SERVICES
We always start every new project with a 1:1 design consultation (90mins) to discuss and understand your project brief, floorplan, budget, timeframes & inspiration. Basically, the more information you can provide, will help inform us of the design direction and vision for your home.
DESIGN CONSULT $395

​A 90min consultation; we kick off with a walk-through of your property, take photos and note down any meaningful details. We'll discuss with you our ideas, things like what could be updated or repurposed and share tips on what we feel could work.
The overall vision for your project will be discussed and we will look at images & inspiration that will inform the design direction for your project. From here we will discuss your budget, timeframes and confirm all the important details.

During the design consult we can work out what services will suit you best. It maybe that you need a full design service; from concepts, specifications through to documentation. Or, it might be that you need help with your material selections and require specification schedules for your builder. ​Whatever it is, we can work out the best solution for you. ​
A custom proposal will be sent across outlining the design services required for your project shortly after we meet.​

INTERIOR DESIGN ​

​​From full renovations/extensions to Kitchen or Bathroom designs we work with you directly to transform your interiors into thoughtful and functional spaces that enhance the way you live. We partner with architects, building designers, trades and suppliers to save you time and make the most of your financial investment, giving you confidence to make firm design decisions. ​We provide a full interior service from concept design through to project completion including; Conceptual design, Joinery design drawings, Material selections, fixtures & fittings , 2D Plans + elevations , 3D visualisations & Design documentation.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
This marks the start of the design journey and visual direction of your project. The information we gathered from the design consult will guide our decisions around aesthetics, budget and functionality so that we can present the best options to you.
Conceptual design is where the intention for the key spaces within your project emerge. You will be presented with an initial concept of hard materials for your review and feedback. ​​​

ELEVATIONS & VISUALISATIONS
Now it's time to further develop and and finalise your interior design concept; from specifications schedules, 2D elevations & 3D visualisations; You will be able to virtually step into your redesigned space.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
We have received your feedback from the concept stage and begin refining and developing your design and specification schedules. We propose hard material selections from the perfect stone benchtop for your kitchen, tiles for your bathroom and flooring options through to final approval.
​​
Joinery design is included in this stage for your storage requirements and technical drawings and elevations for your spaces are prepared. Lighting design & plans can be included at this stage.

DESIGN DOCUMENTATION
All project schedules and drawings are presented to you ready for you to hand over to your builder for construction. Includes; detailed drawings, elevations, detailed specification schedules ready construction.
